I am unable to connect to a couple sites on my desktop computer running 98SE
that I can reach with our laptop running XP using the same connection.  The
sites were accessible recently but something has made it impossible for me
to get to them, I continually get the message below.

My Volume Control that sits in the SysTray is missing.  It was there
before I installed MSN IM then when I installed that, the Control
disappeared. I went into MSCONFIG and disabled and re-inabled SysTray,
