No any electrical thing near to my monitor but a speaker is there, but i think that speaker never cause this problem becoz from last three year i putting them in same position....there lan wire near to monitor ,it causes any flicker ?.................my cpu & monitor are 1 feet

Have a windows 98 machine i want to connect to the internet but the wizard dosnt work. i have tried a lot of things i am connecting through a router and the machine is on the same ip range as the router but i can't ping it what should i do?

I decided it was time to tidy up my font folder as there was in the order of 500 fonts in there. I tried to copy the font first before deleting just in case I wanted to use it again, but when I tried to paste it into the new folder I got an error

Recently I noticed HDD activity whilst online, and thought I may be being visited by some unknown software. It turned out a New MSN messenger was being downloaded, unknowst by me, as I dont remember clicking an upgrade option.
