I am running an Intell motherboard in my PC and when i go to load drivers
for the chip set  I get following error message
Either SorcePath or WinDir values in
HKLM\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Setup key

Hi all;
Got a quick ? about a registry value.  I'm looking to "lock" down the system
clock so users cannot change the time.
I can remove the clock/time via the taskbar but upon reboot/relogin it

Indiana.   Don't shop or get your computer repaired at S&S computers
there service is no good.  This is just my opinion.

I deleted the My Documents Icon on the desktop and no longer have access
to my documents in windows explorer...how do i get this back so that
when i open explorer i have access to my documents in the folders pane?

Computer gone mad?
This morning, I was editing some old photos using AcdSee; I also had this
n/g open and on the task bar.
AcdSee started acting erratically; the scroll bars were going beserk racing

At startup - There is a registry/configuration error.
Will not open Windows, but says:
The following file is missing or corrupted: C:\WINDOWS\DBLBUFF.SYS

When I press ctl+alt+del, the task manager shows TWO copies of 'explorer' in
the list.
Many times when I (finally)  succeed in closing the extra copy, it comes
right back (list shows two copies 'running'/)

I tried to install a removable drive in a Windows 98 machine and fouled it
up once or twice before getting the process right.  It now works fine but I
have extra ghost removable drive that I cannot make go away.  Any
suggestions?

Anyone running Excel Viewer 2003 with a Win98se OS?  I have Excel Viewer 97
but it is not able to handle the newer versions of Excel.  The MS web site
states that EV 2003 is compatible with: Win2000 SP4, WinServer2003 or WinXP.
No mention of Win98.  But it is suppose to be a ...

I want to know the Total Memory(Bytes). As there is no such performance
counter available in System performance viewer. The performance counter
available are:
Available Bytes, Committed Bytes, ..... etc...

As the old timers know, I went over to the other side after my hard
drive died last Spring.  I post occasionally in the XP new-users
group, but they don't have the heart and personality I found here.
