I was using Windows 98SE with 2 hard drives installed. The C drive is formatted as FAT 32 with Win98SE. The second drive is partitioned into D:E:F: The D drive was empty so I created a dual boot using the Win XP Pro disk. All disks are FAT 32.

I am working on a laptop,Dell latitude CPx. When I plug in the power adapter the led light come on briefly,I can hear the HD whirling and then power goes off. This happens is a couple seconds.I also have a USB test light attached and that goes on then off.

I just got a DELL Inspiron 3000 (oldie but goodie) with a Pentium II at 233MHz and a display panel of 800x600. I upgraded to Win 98SE, but the fonts on the screen don't look right.

I'm trying to burn an .iso file that is about 693 MB. I use Hotburn, and if I use the copy CD image setup, the 700 MB disc is only recognized as 648 MB; if I choose copy files instead, then I get 703 MB to use. I can't burn this .iso image the traditional way. What is the problem, ...

I never found a calculator better for my use than the default W98 calculator. BUT- the function labels are red on a gray background. For my eyes, that is very hard to read. Is there any way to change the red labels to say.... black, that would be easier
