A lot of printers now have a network port so that they can sit directly
on a LAN without the need of a PC.
I have these set up on Win98 and they work fine from Windows programs,
but not from DOS software.

Can someone provide the specifics on Win98SE limits for hard drive size?
I have a MOBO with 48bit BIOS (to accommodate partitions over 128GB and LARGE HD's), also have a driver for Win98 to allow for large
partitions (up to 128GB I think), which works well. Also have a 400GB HD ...

need help!    For some reason my sound card quite working, it shows that it

Need USB Driver for my 98 SE30 Mar 2006 21:24 GMT6
I've been told that I need to get a new USB driver, because mine no longer
works and I cannot use my printer (USB Port "not available").  I know it's
plugged in and the printer driver software is running OK.
Where can I go to download the driver software that I need?
Using the Boot  Menu 30 Mar 2006 20:31 GMT5
I want to setup the Boot Menu to make "Normal" boot to the command prompt,

from launching in its true normal mode, which won't work on this box. I
can't prevent that completely, but I'd like to make this ...

My friend has an old computer that was formally running Windows 98.  He
reformatted the drive and proceeded to reload the OS. When he was
prompted for the key code, he realized that he had lost it.
Is there a way to retrieve the key from the disc somehow? Is there an
Disabled Start-up Items 29 Mar 2006 23:04 GMT5
Dumb question - does deleting a shortcut from Disabled Start-up Items in the
Start Menu restore the function or have any other predictable effect?
I ask this because for some reason, GoBack is now listed there, but I didn't
put it there, at least not knowingly. The mission critical ...
