it's about 4 month that my mouse doesn't move horizontally, it just moves up & down but it works very well with my nephew's computer; his mouse also works well with my computer. i reinstalled my OS (windows XP) but it didn't work.

A lot of printers now have a network port so that they can sit directly on a LAN without the need of a PC. I have these set up on Win98 and they work fine from Windows programs, but not from DOS software.

What would cause the 'drive not ready/Insert BOOT diskette...' error on bootup when the BIOS system configuration shows 'primary master : hard disk xxMB'? System is w98se.

I've been told that I need to get a new USB driver, because mine no longer works and I cannot use my printer (USB Port "not available"). I know it's plugged in and the printer driver software is running OK. Where can I go to download the driver software that I need?
