The "Choose Program" applet does not display when I right click my mouse on any file--images, texts, scripts, programs, apps, etc., on my older IBM desktop PC from 1999.

My computor froze up and when I restrated it a message appeared "mm32.vxd. if this file is not in your path you may need to reinstall windows. Can someone tell me what to do? Thanks

I have an old Compaq that I am trying to use quick restore cd to get it back to when computer was purchased because file have been deleted. When I do quick restore, it seems to be working, but then it gives and invalid command.com. Don't know what that is or what command to use.

In W98SE I could highlight a JPG file and have an image representation of it show in the explorer on the left. I have View as webpage set but this makes no difference. I found it so useful when browsing through the collection of JPG files.

Our local school was getting rid of all its old computer equipment and donated one to the pre-school that I help with. I have a problem with it in that I can't change the screen resolution. It's a 1GHz Celeron running W98 release 2, so it's not desparately old.

Since the upgrade to 98SE I haven't made intensive use of the laptop I mentioned in my previous message and it is perhaps too early to be certain, but the upgrade appears to have fixed the laptop fan in the sense that before the upgrade the fan used to be on more or less

Recently the hard drive on my computer was formatted and Windows SE was reinstalled. I no longer have Parisian BT font as I did before the hard drive was formatted. Is there some place on the Microsoft website I can download this font?

Recently had my computer off for 10 days. When trying to boot up had a lot of problems. Finally got it running and found that several programs were missing like MS word, MSworks. Windows media player wouldn't work. CD burner wouldn't work. Maybe others I don't know about yet ...

I am running windows 98se and since installing macromedia flash player I have been unable to add any folders to any part of the computer. If I go into microsoft word and go to "save as" in the file menu I can add a folder then. The problem may have started before macromedia install ...
