Is there a way to attach (and use) an external hard drive to an older
Thinkpad running WIN98?  If so, what drive, etc.?
Do not want to even consider upgrading the OS or the internal hard

How do you rollback MDAC to a previous version? I installed MDAC 2.8 SP1 and
