How can I force dun in win98se to save my password?  It is grayed out and I
can't place a check mark in it to save it?

My neighbour has a TINY pc which has had the option to right click on the

I added an additional hard drive 4 years ago which has worked fine and was
designated as "D".Today when I went to access a file which I knew from past
experience was on this "D" drive I was unable to obtain the file and when I
go to "my compuer" it no longer shows this "D" drive but ...

How many people, percentage-wise, are still using Windows 98/98SE/ME on
their PCs? I figure you tech types see Windows 98/98SE/ME all the time
still? What do you figure is the current install base etc. ? Any comments on

I was curious, I recently bought a Brother MFC-420CN scanner/fax/copy device
and initally could not get it to scan. Solved that issue it was a problem
within the 'Win.ini' file. But I noticed it does not show in the 'Scanners

I keep getting this cookie that appears and it read like this "~~local~~/".  
I cannot seem to be able to block it.  I have tried checking the "not
accepting" any kind of "cookies" and the "prompt" for accepting "cookies".

On a Windows XP system, I can run this file from the RUN command window by

I noticed that Windows Media Player 9 will be fully retired July 9,
2013.  Does this mean that Windows Media Player 9 will continue to get
updates with Windows 98SE even though their will be no general operating
system updates.  What about other components like Internet Explorer ...

I'm so sorry it's taken me so long (almost a month) to report back
about my mouse. I was having loads of problems with it, and several
people suggested solutions. Now the problem is gone, and I'm ashamed
to say why.
