Is there ONE place to go to download all the updates, security fixes etc. before it's too late? When I try to google them I get so confused about what's needed and in what order that my little button head just sits there and spins.

This is really a shot in the dark... I have a need to load Win 98 onto this newer Intel mobo. 98 just doesn't like it at all. Do you guys have any secrets ot tips on how I might get it loaded?

Hi Group, Can anyone tell me if there is a common driver software available for 128 MB Pen Drive to run on Win 98.?? I bought a pen drive but win 98 is not detecting it, i did not get any driver CD/floppy with that.

When I go to ControlPanel> Add\Remove Programs, I see the name of some programs there that I have removed their folders before, but now I want their names to be removed from the programs' list, but I can't. When I click on "Add\Remove" button, it gives me an error message.

An HP Pavilion 6630 that I just salvaged (from the side of the road) has a working version of Windows 98 on it. From a command prompt, VER results in 4.10.2222. How can I tell whether this is Windows 98, ME or SE?
