I have been given a complete H/P pavilion system, 6751. It is a bundled system with its own keyboard, mouse, monitor, & win M.E pre-loaded etc. I have heard that it will only accept M.E as an o/s, is this true.

How do I get Widows98SE to recognize a DVD-RW drive instead of addressing it as a CD-R only. I need to use Roxio EasyCD v6 to read and write to DVD-RW's but Win98SE is only recognizing the DVD-RW drive as a CD-R drive. I can use this DVD-RW drive on a different computer

I am totally confused. I want to transfer some specific files from my old computer running windows 98,( which doesn't have a cd/dvd burner) to my new computer running XP (which doesn't have a floppy) I really don't know what to do, thoughts?

The two cdrom drives show up in the BIOS, if I use a boot disk it'll load those drivers and they work, I can boot the computer from the CDROM, but neither are showing up in My Computer in Windows itself. The primary and secondary ide have the yellow mark in the Device manager,

I purchased a printer and it lists Windows 98 SE as a requirement, not Windows 98, which I have on my pc. Will there be a problem loading the software for the printer?
