Something happened to one of our business computers while trying to adjust the display. Now it keeps reverting to the lowest setting, even if we apply a new one and restart the computer. Everything is very BIG. It runs on Windows 98. Any ideas?

I would like to restore the Registry for an earlier day's version and I have in the past configured Scanreg.ini to keep 30 Backup copies. However, when I go into Ms-dos mode and ope Scanreg.exe through scanreg/restore, only 5 copies show in the box and they are not the latest

I had suspend to ram disabled in BIOS assuming this would default to suspend to disk. When I tried standby , on coming out of standby there was nothing but a grey screen and nothing . Enabled suspend to ram and tried again, still grey screen and nothing. I don't even know if it's a ...

Relative to WU, does this mean that after this date, 9x/Me users will be cut off entirely from using WU (meaning older updates would no longer be available), or that WU simply won't be stocked with future updates? I assume the latter, but just want to make sure.

I am trying to replace Windows ME with Windows 98 on an old laptop (Omnibook XE2). I rearanged the boot order in the bios so that the DVD drive would boot first, started the computer, and the cd came up and the menus worked, but I couldn't read anything on the screen because

I'm still using a thinkpad with win98. It has a FAT C drive and a FAT32 D drive, each with 2GB of space. I've tried putting everything possible on the D drive -- the temp internet files, and any new program -- but the C drive keeps running out of space.
