I have been having a load of trouble trying to install an ethernet card
10/100 NIC  thingy, I have an installation disk but that didn't seem to
work properly so I have been trying to do it 'manually' too, by downloading
various drivers which look 'likely suspects'.

Does the .NET Framework come standard on Windows 98 SE? I'm thinking about
getting VB Express Edition or C# Express Edition. If the .NET Framework
doesn't come standard on Windows 98 SE, does the ClickOnce setup program
install the .NET Framework on the PC? Thank you.

I did a clean boot and defraged my computer,after that i loaded up ad-aware
se personal and checked for updates...the ad-aware locked up on me so i
rebooted and now says error while loading definitions files....i downloaded
adaware again ...same proplem......ive dumped everything ...

I changed the domain in all of my computers from "localdomain" to "lan" and
now the Win98 computer can't see any of them.
All the others (WinXP and Linux) work just fine as x.lan, y.lan, z.lan, etc.

I have 98SE and while running scandisk in dos mode, it keeps stopping when I
