I read some topics about the Drive size and File size limitation that
is the size should be restricted to X by File System. Can anyone help
me to understand ..why restriction of size is implement for Drive

So I switched from an ADSL-connection to fibre and I would like my
Windows 98-running desktop to connect to the net through LAN. This
should work by simply plugging the cable from the ethernet card into
the box on the wall, and it works fine on my XP-equipped laptop.

Does anyone know where the win98 versions of WMP 9 fixes 884723, 886610
892313, 891220 and 885353 might be found?  The respective KB pages only list
XP-family versions of the fixes.

After the desktop wallpaper is displayed and  a local network mapped

My wife is running Win98 and Outlook Express 6 on her desktop.
Sometimes when she opens OE, there are no messages showing in

I uninstalled X-Setup (which I'm sure is suitable to some), & PCMag's InCtrl5 reports...
