How to stop words showing up as links in text?13 Jun 2006 22:36 GMT11
After a brief flirtation with Kazaa, now suddenly random words on the net
show up as blue "links". I've uninstalled Kazaa, used Kazaabegone, Adaware,
but this is still ocurring. Any idea how to get rid of it?
Thanks.

adieu or not?13 Jun 2006 22:03 GMT12
When MS stops supporting win98, does that mean all the MVPs here will

My "folder" icons changed to "Explorer" icons...what do I do?12 Jun 2006 11:15 GMT3
My Win98  unit was locking-up on me, so I re-booted (several times).  When it
finally came up, my shortcuts no longer worked.
Instead of opening what they were linked to, they displayed the "Open As"
box where you're suppose to select the program to open them under(it
LS120 hangs W98SE boot12 Jun 2006 06:20 GMT4
When I boot step-by-step, it makes it thru msmouse.vxd and continues for a
while after Ethernet lights up, then the pc hangs.  I have to hard reset to
recover, as it won't ctrl-alt-del reboot out of it.
I've tried the Q262232 (hsflop.pdr) fix, which didn't fix it.
