Hi, My CD-Rom has stopped playing for some reason - when i place a CD in and
close the door it did nothing...the usual 'whirring noise' when it starts
reading the CD doesn't happen at all now, but the power is on, and it opens
and closes ok - its just not being detected or ...

Guess winfixer 2005 now becomes winsoftware winfixer 2006 // winsoftware
winantivirus pro 2006 and remove them without any problem.
However, each spybot 1.4 scan does not seems to be able to get rid of

Partly related to my recent post about word, can easily and without
wiping the drive I remove a partition or shrink drive d so that c is
bigger?  When I last used word 97, it ran out of space on c in under
one paragraph.  The other suggestions have not helped, unfortunately.
