Hi, My CD-Rom has stopped playing for some reason - when i place a CD in and close the door it did nothing...the usual 'whirring noise' when it starts reading the CD doesn't happen at all now, but the power is on, and it opens and closes ok - its just not being detected or ...

I'm looking for a backup that is very similar to the Win98 backup, EXCEPT that it must perform a byte-for-byte compare of the input vs. the output file(s) after the backup step and also after the restore step.

Guess winfixer 2005 now becomes winsoftware winfixer 2006 // winsoftware winantivirus pro 2006 and remove them without any problem. However, each spybot 1.4 scan does not seems to be able to get rid of CoolWWWSearchWCADW. How can I get rid of this? TIA

Partly related to my recent post about word, can easily and without wiping the drive I remove a partition or shrink drive d so that c is bigger? When I last used word 97, it ran out of space on c in under one paragraph. The other suggestions have not helped, unfortunately.

When placing password information into a webmail account my friend must of hit remember password because now everytime he tries to get in as soon as he puts his user name into the box a dropdown list opens with other user names that he put in by mistake.
