By installing win98 and XP on the same hd and different partitions, I assume that I would have to install the video card, sound card software for each one, or would the softwares automatically install the proper drivers? As for the chipset software on my mb, wouldn't installing it

Can someone please help me with an age old issue here. When a local HTM file is opened and a link with a local MP3 file is clicked, a 'save to disk' dialog box is opened. The option to 'open this file from its current location' is grayed out!

If you upgrade your CPU and will continue to use Win 98, do you pay a premium for useless hardware if you get an AMD 64-bit cpu versus an Intel 32-bit one? Or, do you in effect not pay extra for that capability?
