Greetings to all.
Well, after some vacation away I've returned to the trusty W98se
Gen.Disc.Newsgroup where all issues are always fixed by the knowledgeable

I downloaded and installed the Windows Troubleshooter fix from

placed the shortcut in the Start button as instructed. However, when I

I was doing a quick scroll-down on a web site using my Logitech mouse with
the scroll wheel in the middle.  All of a sudden, the web site print turned
tiny.  Ever since, there is teeny tiny print on all the web sites I visit.

Recently my daughters system restarted in safe mode do to a problem.
A couple times before it had to restart but when it asked what mode to
start in I chose normal.  This time I got sidetracked and it restarted
in safe mode.  Question is how to get it to restart now from safe mode

Had to back up my hard drive and reformat it. Now when I try to get
messages back into OE 6 I am unable to get the messages to appear. Keep
getting a popup stating that that specified message could not be
opened--may be in use by OE. Then when I click OK I get another popup

Since making this machine a dual boot, I havent had a need to go
to pure Dos on boot-up, but now I do.
At boot, I do an F8 and get to about 8 or so options, none of which
offer a Dos Box, except one option saying 'Safe Mode with command',

I have a secondhand computer that has Windows 98, but no CD writer, and
no installation disks, and has just 64mb RAM and 4gb disk space. The
only drives listed are A and C.

After reloading the OS, the Win98 cloud wallpaper is gone, vanished,
kaput.  I was kind of attached to Bill's fluffy clouds.  Did a search
on this NG plus Googled it, but could not find a source.
Would appreciate it if someone could point me to a source for that
