I downloaded and installed the Windows Troubleshooter fix from http://dundats.mvps.org/windows/win98/98_Tshootr.htm, 38.4 kb, and placed the shortcut in the Start button as instructed. However, when I click on it I still get blank pages and the following alert from Zone

Recently my daughters system restarted in safe mode do to a problem. A couple times before it had to restart but when it asked what mode to start in I chose normal. This time I got sidetracked and it restarted in safe mode. Question is how to get it to restart now from safe mode

Had to back up my hard drive and reformat it. Now when I try to get messages back into OE 6 I am unable to get the messages to appear. Keep getting a popup stating that that specified message could not be opened--may be in use by OE. Then when I click OK I get another popup

Since making this machine a dual boot, I havent had a need to go to pure Dos on boot-up, but now I do. At boot, I do an F8 and get to about 8 or so options, none of which offer a Dos Box, except one option saying 'Safe Mode with command',

Hi , does anyone know if you can run a wmv file in Win 98. I tried to convert it to an indeo file in XP but the quality was lost. Has anyone done a conversion to a file type that W98 can run? Is there a driver I need for wmv in w98?

After reloading the OS, the Win98 cloud wallpaper is gone, vanished, kaput. I was kind of attached to Bill's fluffy clouds. Did a search on this NG plus Googled it, but could not find a source. Would appreciate it if someone could point me to a source for that
