I am trying to install a wireless network adapter in my windows 98 computer. It appears that some files are needed from the windows 98 cd. My computer came with windows installed and no cd. It did come with a restore cd but that appearently does not have the required files on it.

Blindingly obvious answers will no doubt follow this, but it's > 90 deg F here at the moment and my brain has melted... When I boot up, I used to get (interspersed with the Windows splash screen) two pages of white text on a black screen.
