I'm running Windows 98SE.  When I run, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc....they are
not showing up on the task bar.  What should I do.

A friend is using 98.  He has found 1000's of temporary internet .html files
mainly "spawned" from ebay.  He's tried to delete from IE tools/internet
options/ delete files.  He used the maintenance wizard and ticked the
correct cleanup boxes and that didnt work either.

Just did a format of my w98se computer and tried to get the updates namely
IE6 sp1. This is what I get:

I think we've been through this before. When I updated to a gig of memory I
got things straightened out by adding MaxFileCache=512000 under [vcache]. I
did that at the suggestion of someone in here at the time.
(I'm talking about Windows 98SE here)

I really screwed up.
I went to do windows 98 security updates. During the update process I
deleted temp files which screwed up the updates. New I did something stupid

I've a client with windows 98 installed. All was working fine since I've
installed the antivirus and now a pc with 1GB of ram is unable to open the
DOS shell since memory is finished.

I'm all of a sudden having troubles with my 7-port USB hub.  It worked
for many days and now, no go.  A couple of days ago I had printer
troubles.  It's my fault, I forgot where I was printing from (the USB
flash drive).  Both the flash drive and the printer are on the hub,
