This is a question about an mp3 file that Windows Media Player could not
play.  The file was once playable I'm sure, but now Windows Media Player
can't play the file format yet it will play all the other mp3 files in the
same folder.  Is there a reason why this would happen?

I have a 98SE desktop with plenty of RAM, and on a daily basis I have to
reboot because it has "Run short of Resources".
I am letting Windows handle virtual memory.

two things: 1st-- turned on my everyday machine (which had no problems) and

I run multiple instances of my application on 4 different screens.
I need to find on wwhich screen is a particular instance is running.

When you click on Start below Programs is the Documents option which then
lists the last 10 or 15 documents opened (of any file type). I know how to
clear it manually in Settings but is there a way to stop Windows from even
compiling this list?

I just installed Win 98 SE on an HP Pavilion 8246. Before installation
I jotted down the audio system description:
Ensoniq PCI Audio
Gave no other description. After fresh install, Win 98 does not recognize

How do I suppress the logon screen that appears when I boot up Win98SE? I
originally had it when the PC was networked but it isn't at the moment.
The second part is how do I get it back at a later stage if I decide to
connect it to a network?
