Have an old computer that I gradually migrate files from to my newer xp
laptop.  Several months ago it stopped booting and gives multiple errors.  
Have tried F8, Del (to get to system files-only to not have or remember
password), etc.  Many times am told need recovery disc.  

The on/off switch on  this custom PC has always
seemed dicky, and now is getting worse -- not
appreciated because the incompetent builder
displays his logo on this inch-wide push switch

I HATE the web interface in Windows Explorer. Only accidentally have I
ever been able to get rid of it on a couple of machines.
I uncheck "View as Web Page". Fine. It goes away. Then I go to Folder
Options and choose Custom and pick the option that views as web page only

The used hard drive that was then put in is 1.2 GB, fine for my W98SE use
