The boot disk created by W98SE when used, gives an initial menu "CD drive enabled, etc. It also creates a RAM drive, which I don't need. When I go to bootdisks.com, and get an "improved" boot disk for W98SE, it just boots to an A prompt. No CD enable.

Hey i checked in The Hardware list and it showed 2 unknown devices 1 Mouse PS/2 -USB and 1 i forgot something for USB <shame> I deleted both of them and rebooted the system.

Help please! When I go on line, Virus Scan updates automatically. The message after updating is to Restart to successfully install the update. I click on Restart. Then when the computer restarts I got the following screen:

I have a little problem with windows 98... When I try to burn a cd faster than 16X, then the burner don't get data in time. So the buffert in Nero empties and refills all the time if the buffer underrun handling is on (default).
