I use some utility, it came without readme and support(even dont know does
it support win98 or for 2K/XP only). It work, but periodically  I get
"illegal operation" errors/ alerts, and  program need be closed. (it seems
errors was due overflow, but I'm not sure). I still use this ...

When I run msconfig and choose the "start-up" tab I see 30 items listed. I
Googled all of them and two have me concerned / confused. Can someone please
tell me if they are good things to keep or something to get rid of.

The boot disk created by W98SE when used, gives an initial menu "CD drive
enabled, etc. It also creates a RAM drive, which I don't need.
When I go to bootdisks.com, and get an "improved" boot disk for W98SE, it
just boots to an A prompt. No CD enable.

Hey i checked in The Hardware list and it showed 2 unknown devices
1 Mouse PS/2 -USB
and 1 i forgot something for USB <shame>
I deleted both of them and rebooted the system.

This is the extension of my post "Program without a name".
Besides staring at what happens with File monitor, Process Explorer and

   When I go on line, Virus Scan updates automatically. The message after
updating is to Restart to successfully install the update. I click on
Restart. Then when the computer restarts I got the following screen:

I have a little problem with windows 98...
When I try to burn a cd faster than 16X, then the burner don't get
data in time. So the buffert in Nero empties and refills all
the time if the buffer underrun handling is on (default).
