The floppy drive on my computer is now working.
When I try to read or write a floppy it will say A:\ is not accessible The

(Windows 98)  When I delete an item I would also like to clean up all of the
shortcuts which target that item.  Is there a simple way to do this?  It
would also be nice if I knew the locations of those shortcuts so that I might

Well the problem is I have a hard drive (Maxtor) which when I make a
slave system does not see it.  When I make it a master the best it will
do is bring up the Windows log and stay there for ever.   If I wait long

Don't laugh at this.
I've been using the same Maxtor 30GB hard drive for about four years
(original part, white box) with no problems whatsoever. Recently I've
noticed that when it first kicks in on a reboot (only), there is a

I have Comcast cable high speed Internet access, Win98SE, Firefox 1.5,
and IE6. The Comcast home page takes 60 seconds to load. Other pages
are correspondingly slow to load in both IE and Firefox. A laptop
computer connected to the same cable by wireless does not have this
