Occasionally, when I shut down Win98SE, the process stops at the final
Win98SE splash screen. I wait for awhile but nothing happens, so I
manually shut off the computer. When I then reboot the computer,
"scandisk" runs before the computer boots up again. I have no viruses,

I received a CD from a friend containing a mix of music and songs from
WWI and WWII. Most are Mp3 which I can play but several are Real Media
.RM, and Streaming Audio .ASX that I would like to convert to Mp3.

Sorry to bother you all with this, but I'm stumped :) I've had gnubg
running on my girlfriend's XP m/c with no problems. However, when I
installed it on a couple of m/c's running 98SE, as soon as I fire them

I ran a virus scan and it is saying it cannot open this file, is this
normal, and could this be slowing down my computer? If I delete it,
will it come back with less bytes in it?

I'm having a problem with my DVDRW. Previously it's worked properly but I
've had to reinstall Windows 98 due to a crash and don't know what to do to
associate /or what to associate with the DVDRW in order to play DVD's
through my computer. At the moment when I click on the DVD icon ...
