i have the password to log into windows, which i want to remove
Went and change to windows log rather then client, went to find deleted old
pwl, restarted - receive same old log on using old password
went to password in contorl panel, tried to change it by typing the old

The people I speak to with skype arent able to hear me clearly is there
anything you can do to improve this without upgrading to 2000 or XP?

This morning when I opened a post in this newsgroup, I got a gray box to
download something in Chinese to view it properly. The post was in English.
What to do to have these messages not coming up. First it was Korean now
Chinese.

Shutdown doesn't work.  It restarts instead
The subject says it all.  Win98SE.  Worked for a while but hasn't
worked for years.

Do not click the links in 98 Guys Status of Office Post, one is an executable file
that has a .doc extension.  I don't give a rats a.s if he may claim it as a safe
file, files that get blocked by AV apps simply DON'T belong in ng's.

Presently running Win 98 with drive C: partioned to form a drive D:
Will there be any problems installing Win98SE  Do I slip Win98SE in
the CD Drive and follow instructions?  Does Win98SE update Win98
system files only?
