I just temporarily changed my settings to Show All Files, and a hidden file appeared on the desktop, "tzedit.gid". A Google search turned up next to nothing: 3 items - one in Russian, two in Portuguese. A spot scan was negative, and I deleted it, but I didn't knowingly put it there ...
