I have a HP pavillion 8676C computer with win 98se.  For quite a while
now, during boot up, the cursor locks up in the center of the screen.

Can anyone tell me what program I need to view and/or install a downloaded  
.RAR file type from the Desktop?  I can see the file with wordpad or in DOS
but can only see just binary jiberish.   The dialog box comes up and says I
have no program that will view an .RAR file.  Thanks ...

I've just found some floppy disks with compressed volumes, dated Jan
1996 and Dec 1997.
I cannot access these and cannot remember how I compressed them.  I
could do with a utility to access the files within.
