Can the Virtual Pc 2004 be setup in Win98/Me?

I remember eons ago the discussion of the 440 BX board. I still have one

I've got a few computers in my network. All of them have Windows XP and

Hey, I´ve seen a post about it, and I´m having the same problem.
I have recently installed a win95 on a pc, the installation was normal,
with no erors.
I also installed the IE4, Plus! the winsock2 update, the AMD CPU

I'm having a problem (well, several problems, possibly) with shutting
down Windows 98SE on a semi-new motherboard.
System:
ECS NForce3A (v1.0A) motherboard (socket 754, NForce3 chipset)

Will IE 7 run on Win98SE?  If so, is it worth using instead of IE 6?

There has been some kerfuffle about pdf files and java and attacks of
one's HDD.
I looked and quickly learned that the most recent Win98 compatible
version of Acrobat Reader is the 6.0.x version.

I'm not sure this is the right location for this problem but I've had luck
here in the past.
The HD on my other newer PC went. It's a 6 y/o Compaq 5003US running Win
