| Can't detect PS2 keyboard. | 17 Feb 2007 05:23 GMT | 8 |
Trying to fire up an old Win98/Sp2 PC, it tells me that it doesn't detect the PS-2 keyboard (and then tells me to press F-2 lol). It used to run with a USB keyboard which I don't have. Is there a way to get it going without buying a USB keyboard?

I'm firmly emtrenched in my comfortable little 98SE time (-warp) capsule here, and trying to help a mate via telephone. I thought he was also on 98 but he's apparently taken the backward step to ME. Not having been to ME myself, I need a bit of help on one point.

| USB 2.0 External Hard Drive Enclosures and BING? | 15 Feb 2007 20:54 GMT | 9 |
Does anyone happen if there is a reason why one of these things could NOT be used with BING to make a backup, partition copy, of one's internal boot IDE HD? Seems like an easy and perfect solution to making a perfect backup, otherwise.

My first encounter with this issue was posted yesterday. I really don't believe that I'm getting this message because the installer is detecting a pre-existing installation of windows. I think there's something else going on.
