WHAT HAPPENED While copying files to the USB hard drive, it froze leaving some files and folders partially transferred. I deleted those, so they went to the Recycle Bin. Later when I tried to empty the Recycle Bin, I received this error:

Hi Haggis, the good news is I was able to reinstall the bootit software in my good WIN98SE portion of the drive. The bad newsis that portion (1820mb portion, see below for all four of my partitions) still won't take control and let me make any changes to it. The 13398mb portion ...

When I ran fdisk on a Western Digital 2850. 853 MB from the label. Fdisk created a Primary Active partition, I selected use all space, but wind up with 495 MB. Then I tried to create an Extended partition, - no space.

I have a 1GB compact flash drive that i currently FAT16. If I format it in a win98(se) computer, will it become FAT32? If not, how can I change it? Thanks.

I have a Compac win98 machine that I want to run as a public machine in a senior complex. Apperently, someone has run the NOGAMES script because even reinstalling win98 doesn't produce any games. Is this reversable?

Can anyone help me figure out why the ctrl-alt-del box is in a foreign language? Also, many other error message boxes are in a foreign language. The only language I have installed (as far as I know) is english. I would appreciate!!! any help.

This was a machine I had in a prevous thread, it turned out to have a bad hard drive. I replaced it with a unknown hard drive I had, ran fdisk and in creating the primary partition got the message " not enough room".
