Win98SE Defrag and Standby fails to operate normally. Also in the below conditions.. Can't seem to locate the cause. Defrag works in Safemode. Didn't try standby in safemode.

Here's the situation: - fdisk'd and formatted old hard drive (fat-32), made it bootable - slaved it to another win-98 system - copied win-98se CD (from ->MSDN<-) to the slaved drive

This is an addition to an earlier thread with this machine. I had on problems with installing DOS 6.22 on a P100 machine with a wiped hard drive. I could not normally install DOS 6.22 on it. While I don't know the history before wiping, it probably had W95/98 on

I have BootNG saved on a floppy, used it several months ago. Today, it does not run as there is no exe file on the floppy??? I had saved the BootNg zip file, so created a new floppy, it still has no exe file to run the program.
