Couple of years back I was able to print things like the Device Mgr, etc directly from the screen. I can't remember what program I was using at the time. Don't think it was a Win98 app. Any suggestions ?

Running Win98se - I downloaded the TZEDIT file from the MS website, to update the time zone info for the upcoming DST changes. Ran it & unzip'd to a temp sub-dir.

I have a Dell OptiPlex GX150 running Windows 98 that for some reason has gone into continuous reboot mode. When it gets most of the way into Win 98, it reboots and goes back to the POST. It doesn't do this when in safe mode. I can't figure out if it's a software or hardware ...

W98SE is loaded. This machine worked, was normally shut down. Two days later I booted up, it stops at the mfg logo screen in POST, I understand. I was advised to hold down the CTRL key, no help. Also, now the power switch does not shut power off, have to pull the plug.

I was given a 1 GB Flash Drive and to my dismay notice it is not for 98SE - only Windows ME, 2000 & XP. Upon looking around in stores I see that is true for all of them I find. I tried it out anyhow and my computer could not find drivers for it. Gee,

I can't get the vga to upgrade to past 16 colors for a dell 1702fp. I have the 1702 insatlled correctly, but it won't bring the colores up. Is there a 98 patch or fix for this?

I have a couple of machines running Win 98 First Edition. When software requirements say they need Win98 SE or above, is there a reasonable chance that the program will also work on Win 98 First Edition? Thanks!

I receintly as a matter I still have the computer in my office, it's for a client. I mistakenly downloaded a file called sp2 for win 98 in the pkg was tweak that was fine. But when I installed the file it changed the splash screen to a grotesque version of the normal windows 98 ...
