A partition, which previouly booted, no longer boots. The message "Invalid System Disk" appeared. There are still 2 partitions that do boot (there are a total of 3 partitions on the harddrive). What do you recommend?

I'm having problems reinstalling win98. I have the files on my hard drive, so I run the setup.exe file from there. I go through all the usual steps, right up to the first Restart. After the restart, I get the usual messages of "Please wait

They ain't what they used to be. I'm lucky if I can bat 75% with most of the ones I buy anymore. I'm asking here because most 98 machines still have floppy drives. Any recommendations for a specific brand?

I can't download any ActiveX, and, Java won't run but says enabled. I get messages that say a file can't be opened because the dll path doesn't exist. What has happened here, I have tried everything, but, without knowing much about my computer.

On a Win-98 system, I don't know exactly when this started to happen, or why, but every time I manually eject a CD I get a dialog box telling me something like "a request was received to eject a disk that is in use" with 2 buttons (eject and cancel).

My granddaughter has Windows 98 installed on her computer. She had a crash, or files were accidentally deleted, and she no longer has Word, Excel, etc. To make matters worse she can not find the Windows 98 install disk. What options do we have?
