trying to dual boot win98se & winXP with more than 512MB RAM (1GB) - please help17 Apr 2007 18:48 GMT27
I've been googling on this for a while but no luck.  Arrrgh!!!
My Win98SE system was very stable with 512MB RAM.
Then, I decided to install WinXP Pro for a dual boot system.
Both OSes are very stable with 512MB RAM.

I received a computer with windows 98 on it, which does not appear to have

my computer crashed a few months ago and we had to strip t and reinstall...
but now every time i go to a page  i get a warning that says certificate not

used a Ubuntu live CD ,it wouldn't run properly(crc error).But it
wrote to the hard drive
now I can't boot into Windows,unless I remove the CD drive.What

I recently posted about a conflict with IP's.  I wanted to know why or how

I was sort of cleaning up an old computer, and believe I accidentaly sent a
needed file (MSVCRT.dll) to the recycle bin, don't ask how it got onto the
desktop thats a long story..at any rate I can't boot up into windows, I get
an error message that says a required dll file c ...

I am contemplating on how best to set up an external USB connected
250GB HDD so I could occasioanlly attach it to my Win98 machine to

PC hungs up due memory exhaustion, blue screen (running few applications,
etc) Restarting via Ctrl+Alt+Del. How to check (100%) that hard disk have no
any errors due this issue? ScanDisk standard test with Disk error-checking
tool show no errors.

No not from Win98 to Vista, but from IE 5.5 to IE6 <g>
