I am in the process of improving my home network security and want to update versions of SNMPAPI.DLL on Win98SE. (I think.) I have recently networked this PC with an XP-Pro (Ethernet) and an XP-home (wireless). On Win98SE, I have two versions of SNMPAPI.DLL:

Three years ago, I successfully instlled a network card on my Win98 SE PC. In Device Manager, the network card is listed as "PCI 10/100 Ethenet Fast Adaptor".

I need help with an error message a message keeps popping up saying that there is an IP address conflict with another system on the network.....does this mean that I am signed on 2 different computers

I'm using 98se, updated, with dialup. As of a few daze ago when I r/c a page link , the puter freezes, and curser is busy, with no data trans. Can't r/c another link on the page but... I can refresh the page and things are back to 98se normal.

A friend loaned us a "thumbstick memory" (I hope that's what it's called :) which has music for our son's percussion lessons. I plugged it into the USB port (win98se) , but was not recognised.

I don`t know if this problem is Windows 98 or IE/Outlook Express or something else: When I receive a digitally signed email message and click on it in Outlook Express, that window does nothing for tens of minutes. This happens every time.

I have a very old computer with two specific vendor interface card. It runs a special program very well under Win3.11. For some reason, I have to upgrade OS into Win98. The special program can't start up under win98 because win98 can'trecognize the special interface card.

I used the version of TZEdit on the Win98SE CD to edit the DST start/end times, and it didn't work. Does anyone know of a fix that will work? Ken
