I have a Pentium III, 1GH computer with Win98SE.
The usb ports are 1.1
Can I add a USB 2.0 card (PCI type)?
I have a slot available, but will 2.0 work with Win98 and on this

It appears that computer users will have USB 3 in 2008 and according to this
article it will be backwards compatible with USB 2.  It will be interesting
to see what the future holds for computing and technology in general.

I have been looking to buy a USB 2.0 card, and was looking online to
see what's available.  I noticed one card that has both USB and
FIREWIRE.  What is the purpose of Firewire?  Or maybe I should ask
what it's used for.

Recently when I end some programs running in a DOS window, the window
size reduces to slightly larger than a postage stamp.
I have been running these programs for  years without that happening.
I can't find any setting that would correct this.
