I can't play embedded media files through Firefox. Microsoft have a
plugin but it is only compatible with Vista and XP.  Is there a way
round this?

My daughter has a computer that runs Windows 98SE.  We started it the other
day and all we got on the monitor was a box right in the center that says

I've just attached a Compaq 56k USB external fax modem to my kids computer to
allow them internet access, but the modem is not recognized via the USB port.
I have the install disk for the modem, but it's not recognizing the modem
when i use the setup for this.

My hard drive recently crashed and I have been trying to load windows 98
back on it.  My PC is from 2001 and I no longer can locate the codes for the
software but have the original legal copy of the disk.  Anyway of getting a
