I have a CTS computer that has WinXP on it. I want to wipe the hard drive clean and install Win98 and then Win98 SE. I know how to reformat it, but will someone please tell me how to get Win98 SE on the empty hard drive?

Win 98se with SIS 530 display hardware version 163, driver dated 4-14-1999. On boot sometimes the display comes up at 640x480. Going to settings,display,settings, the resolution bar is stuck at the low resolution! Can't change it without rebooting (sometimes several times)

Posted this over on Velocity but got no response! Have been chasing this problem for some time. Found an old Win note that indicates it might be a memory problem. Have reduced the amount of useable memory from 312 meg to 64 meg to try.

I posted to this group about my windows protection error. I found that by uninstalling NAV and also the utilities, and reinstalling NAV, I was able to start up normally for the past week. I am still on the fence about the utilities( Win Doctor and Disk Doctor).
