Any help/advice on resolving this is appreciated
I'm running win98SE and SFC crashes during scanning for altered files
SFC caused an invalid page fault in
module KRNL386.EXE at 0002:000042cc.

Hopefully this won't get too longwinded, but as a bit of background, I
recently upgraded my hardware and wanted to keep all the software as
before.  I installed a new M.B. and CPU to go from a 600MHz Pentium 3
unit to a 2.6 GHz Celeron  unit.  Also I cloned over the multiboot

longer supports it, is there any site I can get the Security Updates ?

Several years ago I moved this file from the Windows folder to the C drive
on an old computer.  I would like to move it back to the Windows folder.
For the life of me I can't remember how !!!!!!!!!!!!

Windows 98 SE, Office 2000 Premium, specifically Word.
Whether trying to open it directly or by opening a document, it brings up
"This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down."
The title bar says "Winword". Details show the error in module Winword.exe.

Thought the next firewall I would try would be Jetico. Seems to have been
fairly highly rated, and apparently provides some additional 'features'
which may be of use in the 9X environment [much more configurable rules
than, say, Kerio, and supposedly rates higher than ZA].
