This is a repeat of last years post on the GA511NA pc card I put in my
toshiba 225 cds laptop. I have tried several installs/uninstalls with no
luck. The install wizard asks for the 98se disk sometimes and sometimes not.
The device manager shows the yellow icon for this ...

I'm looking for a complete set of the system sound files that came
with Windows 98 (startup, shutdown, etc.) I know this a tall order,
but would anyone mind emailing these WAV files to me?  It's easy
enough to do. The files can be found in the control panel >sounds.

This file in Windows/system  (312KB) opens on startup (Win98 6.0).
Strangely, I can't find any mention of it on GOOGLE or Microsoft Help.
Is it a 'legit' program ?  Do I need it ?  Do I need it to run on startup ?
The reason I'm asking is there are 2 'windows' that hang up this ...

   I bought an old Packard Bell "Multimedia C115" desktop computer from a
friend of mine for $20.00.   While he had it, he did a some upgrades (128M
ram,  USB ports, etc.).  It has Windows 98SE.

I am attempting to download Google Earth. The download seems fine but when I
try to open the file I get a notice as follows:
