I've just inherited an olde laptop which limits on 98SE.  It came with a fresh
98SE install and a loose wireless NIC (RoamAbout by Enterasys) which the
previous owner had used successfully on the machine.  There was no info with the
NIC but the P/O supplied a link to the drivers ...

I have a certain folder, let's call it C:\Drafts, which periodically fills
up with lots of .tmp Word files which I delete by opening the folder, doing
a search for .tmp files, and deleting them. I want to automate this ...

Running IE6 SP1 on Win98 FE connected through 56K dialup modem
Recently, periodically the system pauses for 20 seconds to upwards of
1 minute doing nothing!
Checking connection details, there is no data coming or going.

win98se to have USB support.  But I only have the win98 install cd.  Is

I have a number of 98SE machines on which I have removed this icon from the
systray, although I don't recall how I did it.
Now I've reinstalled 98SE on a laptop (where the systray is quite crowded), and
I want to again remove this icon.  I never use Task Scheduler.
