I'm using my old Win98 PC as a temporary external hard disc for my newer Vista PC (until I get a proper external) and was connecting via TightVNC. However the old monitor has now broken and something seems to be preventing the 98 PC from booting properly, at least I can't see it ...

After shifting my two PC's with Win XP SP3 Home Edition to an office nearby, I am left with a HP Pavilion pre-loaded with Win 98SE. I formatted the hard disk and reinstalled the OS using the Recovery CD. With assistance from Robear Dyer, I managed to upgrade I.E. from 5.0 to 6.0!

With ie6 using Flash Player 9 watchin a live cam, I get the video freezing frame about evey second or so. On the same machine and same programs, I get smooth video. Is this an isue with win98se or can it be fixed?

When the screen was 5,000,000 by 4,000,000 there was room for all the icons on the DeskTop. Then I changed it to 800 by 600 and many, many icons could no longer be found on the DeskTop. Assume monitor is gone and cannot go back to

How do you transfer a saved Display Scheme (a Scheme in Display Properties, Appearance tab) from one computer to another? Is there a Registry key for saved and built-in Schemes that can be exported and imported? I don't see it in the Registry.
