I hope you can help me......I am trying to uninstall
internet404 - apparently it is
causing error messages, and when I try, this is what comes
up:

got a problem with Ie on w98... wondering if its maybe
spyware/adware related?.. when i try to surf , the URL
always reverts to " the best of the web " site and
displays  a 404 error at the bottom of the screen? can't

I keep getting Internet Explorer Script errors.  What is
causing this and how do I fix?

When I click on internet exploror it gives microsoft
internet exploror has encountered a problem and needs to
close. we are sorry for the inconvenience. Also asks if I
want to restart. then shuts down the internet explorer.

When I went to my bank's website to look at my accounts I
entered my SSN and a password. IE asked if I wanted to
save it and I selected yes. Unfortuneatly the SSN was
wrong, by one digit so now I have to correct that digit

Would someone please explain why IE 5 will not save
changes made to Tools/ Internet Options. What is the cure?
Should I uninstall and reinstall IE or is this a problem
of Win98SE corruption?

      I have had this error show up countless times and
its driving me nuts! It just happened again!!!!! It says I
have performed an illegal operation and will be shut
down.... contact vendor....can anyone help me!?

In ie there is is delay in the characters appearing when
typed, also when I click on something there is a delay in
response.  Also the scrolling is choppy.
