I also can not get my computer to scan for current

I had to replace my hard drive, thus had to reinstall all
my software.  After doing so I have not had access to
email attachments and excel email attachments unless the
attachment opens as MSWord file.  Attachment icon opens in

Hi, help needed again. I have copied an email that I received yesterday and
did as directed but then wondered if I was being scammed into a massive
chain email, and even worse if the "virus" that I removed was needed by the

Dell Dimension 200 Pro running Win98SE.  Tried 20 - 25 times to upgrade to
both 5.5 SP2 and 6.0.  Win Upgrade history shows IE6.0 installed several
times.  Back to trying IE5.5 SP2 downloaded from evolt.org.  Everything shut
down except Explorer and Osa.

I started the update for explorer 6 last night at 9:00PM,
at 12:00 M the screen froze at 86% on the media player, it
stayed that way for a couple hours, I decided to shut it
down and another window opened telling me that setup was

Help!  Everytime I go to download a file, I get a
message "cannot find microsoft.exe file".   Neither can
I!!!! What do I do.  I need to download some business
forms thru Acrobat and I can't open them.

First of all, I'm using Win98SE and AOL 5.0.
Can’t figure this one out.  I was using my modem with AOL just fine near 56K.
Then I installed a larger hard drive and reinstalled all programs.  Now every
time I connect with AOL, it indicates 32K or lower.

Hi, I've had to reload windows and establish a new dial-up
connection.  I get connected but will not log in.  Message
