hi i have windows 98 but i recently purchased a minidisc player and it comes with a cd for its software, but it won't let me install it unless i have windows 98SE or better.

We have an Dell Dimension V350 that we got in 1999. It has Windows 98 R1 on it. Our printer is a HP Deskjet 712C. If we update to Windows XP Home, will I need new drivers for anything? Thanks, Johnna

#1. I had to format my Computer hard drive after receiving a lot of Windows 98 Updates on it. Do I need to try to get those Updates re-loaded. If so, how do I go about getting it done.

I am unable to access secure areas (view my bank accounts). I am using a new ISP. They ensure that all my settings were correct and suggested doing a windows update. However, I am unable to do that. I got a new ISP

Had to reformat hard drive after crash, after 3 years use. Udated explorer from CD to IE6 and downloaded Active X 9.0 Then tried to do Windows Update. Got 'Software Update Incomplete'. Followed advice on Microsoft Site and added

I had to reformat my hard drive after pc crashed after 3 years useage. Now when I try to do a Windows Update I get the message 'Software Update Incomplete'. I carried out the advice on Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 319585.

I have 65 messages coming in, the first one comes thru no problem, but the second one is not and holding all my other mail up. Is there any way to stop the second one?? I am at a loss after talking to HELP lines all day.
