Critical Update downloads but doesn't install.  Had this
problem some time back, and it's apparently caused by my
being an AOL subscriber.  If there were a way to easily
transfer my AOL Address Book and Favorite Places to MSN,

I know that users can speak to one another, but is it
possible for one user to say share a CD program, and have
the other user hear the sound from this shared program?

reason.  I am able to scan to find updates my computer
needs, but when I click on "Download", nothing happens.  A

I click on the email address that is on a web site and
start to type.  Say I type out a sentence but then decide
to put in a word within the sentence. The sentence does
not move down to make room for the new word.  It just

everytime i receive an email w' an attachment, i click on
the paperclip and it's grayed out and won't allow me to
open it..how do i change my settings?

I did the entire update on 8 - 20- 03 (at least I thought
I did) but after I rebooted I went back to the update site
to check if everything went through and NOW the scan tells
me there are 11 Critical updates available (when I started

Yesterday 8/20/03, It tried to download Cumulative patch
for IE 6 service patch (822925). The download was so slow,
canceled it. This morning, I checked for critical updates
and it showed none available. I checked my installation

I have Win98SE and IE 6,SP1.   I do not understand if I am
supposed to download this patch.   On the technical
details it lists IE6,SP1, but I do not see Win98SE
mentioned.   I do see mentioned Win2000, so I am not
