I've tried numerous times to update different windows parts, expecially directx9. Each time, I click on "agreement-I agree", the screen looks like its going to the update section, then stops & I get message update

I have tried to resolve the problem by re-registering files: regsvr32 msscript.ocx and regsvr32 dispex.dll. These failed. I did register files regsvr32 vbscript.dll and regsvr32 scrrun.dll.
