Cannot include picture in body of message11 Aug 2003 15:41 GMT5
I have OE6. When I Insert a picture in the body of a message, it is not
included in body of message, but rather added as an attachment.
I have checked the Options/Send settings but I don't see any incorrect
settings.

When I try to connect to dial up provider get window for
predial and have to click before can connect--its annoying
and would like to get rid of it--any suggestions??

I have a user that the Windows password box pops up each
time the computer is turned on.  I have done everything I
know to do to eliminate this but can't seem to make it
disappear.  Any suggestions?

Dear Sirs
I am using the Outlook Express 5 version for sending and
receiving emails.  I am unable to open the attachments
with .eml extension as it shows that file does not have a

Suddenly i am taking 4 minutes to connect to both I S P
companies i use.
I get connected quickly then i get 2 seoarate message
lines saying veryfying user and password then a long time

OK gang...I think this is such a rip...I upgraded to Win.
98 using the only CD that would work since I was
previously running 95...that was the Win95 to Win98
upgrade.  Now I have to upgrade yet again from Win98 first

I deleted some emails from the deleted items folder, and
was wondering if there is any way of recovering them.  I
was told that there are email recovery programs out there
that might work.  Any thoughts?

When I load OE (version 6) and press the Send/Receive
button, the normal window that details the downloading of
email flashes but does not stay.  The result is I cannot
download my emails.

I have been unsuccessful in updating my Win 98SE with all
critical updates. Some have worked but other have not. A
review of the update log shows the most current error
reads    See iuhist.xml for details: Download finished

I have not found a thing on "modem" problems here, so i
am posting with the hopes someone has an answer.
I think mine fried. We had a real bad lightening storm,i
disconnected all the electricity, unplugged it all, but

since downloading this service pack my home page changed,
i can't open eml files with quick view anymore and my
internet setting has changed to never connect. i have
uninstalled the service pack through add/remove programs

I removed outlook express from my win 98se machine. I know to make xnews
work I need to add it registery. but I forgot to look where in re it
goes.Will somebody tell me what that change is.

I hope this is the right NG for this question:
I need to xfer the files from my win98 system to the new
xpPro one. I have a parallel file xfer cable that I know
works however win 98 & XP can't seem to talk to each

If I have forgotten my parental control password how do I
reset it?  I tried uninstalling IE6 and it doesn't help.  I
also tried resetting my system back to before I added the
password and that didn't work either.

Roger. Did so. Acrobat Reader Basic 6.0 made it a "wrap".
