My old, borrowed, Win98SE PC will not accept an internal modem. It runs an external one OK on COM2 but when trying to install an internal, Windows does not find or 'see' a COM3.

when you open the oe inbox, it is divided into an upper and lower part. i believe the lower part is called the preview window. anyway if you highlight an item in the upper window a preview of the item appears in the lower
