Guys, Pleeeesssse HELP !
my puter was infected with trojans , spyware-adware stuff,
it's now all gone I used |Spy Sweeper to clean it all up.
Before the clean up I had a problem and it's still there:

I do a lot of research online and need to open multiple windows when
browsing.  The last time I did research (last week), I had no problem.  I
would simply minimize my browser window and double click on the Internet
Explorer "e" on the desktop to open a new one.

After changing a DSL modem, probably jut a coincidence,
my 98 computer would not connect to the internet, though
I could ping my router. Lynksis suggested reloading IE
6.0. I could not get the computer to correct IE or reload

Just today it started that when I use IE 6, my home page
comes up in good form. But from there, the next address I
choose will have the screen (middle two-thirds) go black.

Working on a friend's computer with Win98, reinstalled OS
due to other problems.  Can hook up to dial-up, but can't
get any page to display.  The title of any box is "No
page to display - Microsoft Internet Explorer"  and the

I went to control panel/ uninstall to try to fix some
problems with IE6 and it gave me the option of repairing
it but when I tried to do that it said it couldn't, I
needed to go to setup and reinstall it. How do I do that?

I have 2 problems with IE which I believe may be related.  Both occur
frequently, but not always.  (I can't make it happen at will)
The first occurs when clicking a link.  The browser appears to recognize the
click action, but pauses (sometimes quite a while) before beginning to
